Dave Kaplan

ASSOCIATE

Dave has been a part of KAI since 2004. He’s an excellent communicator and very efficient project manager. Dave’s thoroughness and attention to detail are an invaluable resource in all code review as well the identification of all construction regulations in each of our unique projects. His outstanding performance has resulted in consistent repeat projects with large-scale organizations including Sherwin-Williams, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and Cleveland Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

Kiera Szytec

ASSOCIATE

Kiera has been with KAI since 2005 as a Project Architect. She is a passionate designer on a continual search for new ideas and energy from the Design World. Kiera provides inspiration by presenting successful project examples to our design team. This information is a catalyst for new design ideas appropriate for each of our unique projects. She is also highly efficient at 3D realistic modeling software which assists in our client's vision coming to life. In her spare time she is a mother of two energetic boys.

Jacob Wetherill

INTERN ARCHITECT

Jake is a recent graduate from The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, though he’s always called Cleveland his home. He has experience working at firms in Cleveland and Portland, as well as a background in Architectural Millworking. Jake is an enthusiastic and ambitious young designer working towards licensure, with skills in a wide range of 3D Modeling and Rendering programs.

Katie Kaczmar

ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR DESIGN DIRECTOR

Katie has grown up with the family firm and has always experienced design as an integral and passionate part of her life. Katie's strengths include assisting the design team with creating a balance of appropriate colors, mix of dynamic finish materials layering depth and interest into each unique project creation.

BUSINESS MANAGER

Katy has been a part of the KAI team since 2005. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity assist the team in seeking out appropriate design opportunities. She is an integral part of the team as she generates proposals and oversees contract and accounting administration.
